For the first time, you see the inside. It is blank. No straps, no lenses, no strange mechanisms. It's just the shape of a face waiting to be taken on, a role, it's just a role. <span class="ministry">THE MESSAGE</span> Final witness. The mask touches your skin and in a flash, the room disappears. Or maybe the room remains, and everything else begins to admit it was always room. You can't speak as The Message reads and their voice comes from somewhere in front of you. Did they hear the lines? You can't ask. You wouldn't ask, at this point. That would be profane. You can only wait while they decide what you meant. You're silent, silent as the damned under the mask while the group must choose which line enters the final record. From inside the mask, you can only hope they choose with grace or kindness that has not been living in this place.
